After a Utah cold spell in the wintertime, I walked outside during my lunch break sometime one day and when I walked outside, I felt the warm sun midst the cold air. The word 'Sunshine' came to mind. I wanted to make a song called 'Sunshine'.... So, later on, I was messing around with my keyboard while talking to a good friend who was my roommate at the time, when I came upon the chords that are now the beginning chords of the final song. I immediately got the glazed-over look in my eye, my roommate detected it and knew I was in for the long haul with this one. He left, and I spent the rest of the night working on the beginning stages of a song called 'Sunshine'. |
