For this song, the lyrics and music came at just about the same time. At the time of writing, I wanted to get something down that was passionatly slow, yet inspiringly positive. Something to which you could feel good slow-dancing with your sweetheart. Well, it started off that way (grin). I got about halfway done with it (with the whole lyrical content written), and decided I had too many slow, sappy songs...so I changed everything, sped everything up, changed the ending lyrics, and decided to laugh them together. What I got was basically a mess, but a fun mess - darnit! |
