Miracle in You
It seemed as though t’was mine to bethough constant effort giv’nthrough all my might, I tried to freestill none who loved would list’n...

I could not bare, one thought to seesuch loneliness my lot.It could not be! It shall not be!Hope, I plead - leave not!

Through pleadings sent to heavn’ abovethough racked me still my plague...A glittered ray, of brightest loveshone down, through darkened day.

As seasons change when past would cry“I leave thee now alone...”My blackness left to me derideThe shameful thoughts to drone.

But thee, warm ray, whose loving rasphas caught my heart to truththe love felt now through failure’s graspwill win, though not in youth.

I promise thee in truth, my love,I’ll fight my best for thee...And forever try through pleading aboveto thank you for staying with me.
